James and Paul crossed paths unexpectedly at a polo event in Miami Beach. To this day, they can't quite say if it was the spectacle of horses on the sand or the free-flowing cocktails that fueled their conversation about a shared passion—creating iconic hospitality experiences.
Paul, eager to expand into hospitality operations after witnessing firsthand flawed project planning and execution, found the perfect partner in James. Their vision clicked, and the Custard started to form.
