OUR STORY
Custard was founded in 2023 from a shared vision and friendship between me, a hospitality veteran, and Paul Bishop, an award-winning interior designer. When Paul said, "We should work together. There's a need for a new kind of consultancy—not to fix things, but to ensure they’re done right from the start," we knew we were onto something.
Together with Bishop's MD, Mehmet Aktash, we founded Custard—a sister company to Bishop Design that blends their visual mastery with our operational and conceptual expertise. We collaborate on many Bishop projects and also operate independently, delivering dynamic, cohesive results for our clients—while having a lot of fun along the way.
Why Custard?
It began as a playful name, but Custard quickly became a metaphor for elevating everything we touch. In today’s hospitality landscape, the pressure to innovate has never been greater.
